Liberty offers both BGA and Leaded Coplanarity Inspection in most component package types. Our PPT861 vision system, built by PPT Vision Corporation, provides high speed, automated vision inspection of critical components.
This cutting edge system features SMI 3-D Optical Scan Head Technology that measures ball grid and leaded components in the X, Y and Z axis.
BGA & CSP component inspection verifies correct ball diameter, X & Y true position, solder bridging, ball quality, missing balls, pits and overall component flatness.
Leaded components are inspected for lead length, width, pitch, standoff and skew. Any sub-standard components identified during the inspection scan process are segregated from the original trays. Documented images and measurements are provided to the customer.
